(Primbee) We are across the road from Lake Illawarra and 5 min walk the other way to the beach which = SANDY SOIL! Just wondering if anyone knows whats better on sandy soil? We have heard different things from different builders, and extreme price difference from 10k-40k we also have to raise the floor level to about 1.7m as we are in a 1 in 100 year flood zone. Thanks Would love any advice. It is also interesting the different things we have been told about "extra costs" due to salt water etc... only one builder has spoken about different tiles bricks metals etc due to salt affects.
