Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 25, 2010 12:32 pm Hi can anyone tell me if the builders put up temporary doors to begin with then change them to your doors later.. What looked like our doors were delivered last week and have sat in the rain for the week they have put them up yesterday (they have a peice of maisonite on either side which makes me think they are temp doors) but we have discovered they are all warped at the bottom ... I wondered if they were there just to keep the door framing straight.. Can anyone throw light to this situation thanks Soots viewtopic.php?f=31&t=31037 harvard 27 DFH signed contract 16th March 2010 slab down 1st June 2010 frame started 8th June 2010 trusses and frame finished 24th June 2010 tiles almost done 14th July 2010 Bricks started 14th July 2010 Plaster started 28th July 2010 Paint 25th August 2010 Re: Temporary Door ? or the real thing 2Jun 25, 2010 12:37 pm we had a temporary front door and internal garage door so that they could be at lock up without having the real doors yet. But ours were very obviously temporary doors...scratched and battered... and white, looked nothing like our stained timber ones. If they look like they COULD be yours then I would double check with your SS or CSR, just in case!
