Thank you all for you replies, after some suggestions and a couple of beers in the arvo i thought i will go for a walk with my wheelbarrow and shovel and give it a go myself, the clay in Pakenham is like concrete so i gave that a miss and went home, more beer (much more fun) The developer called me first thing this morning to say the dirt would be moved in a couple of days and they would have the survey done by tomorrow as not to hold up settlement. . After that i called the conveyancer and she told me the bank was not quite ready yet and settlement of the land would be more like Thursday or Friday bloody bank, i am sure if they were waiting on a payment they would be ready . oh well official settlement is 1st November so Delfin wont hit us with any late fees.
