Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Bleach on tile grout 6Jun 23, 2010 2:03 pm I once asked a tiler when we had some tiles regrouted if i should use bleach to clean & he said no way as it breaks the grout down over time & in turn causes problems, especially on shower walls, water then seeps through to other side. If you have had the grout sealed you should be able to just wipe down with water & maybe mild detergent to keep it looking good. Personally i took his word & not risked it. Wash with this, rinse with fresh water, and dry with cotton towels. For restoration cleaning, best getting in professionals.
