Re: "HELP" last chance to change anything, prelim plans 62Jun 24, 2010 11:11 am Same here Loretta, i renovated a property in the Dine but after i sold it i got priced out of the market within a year. we hesitated cause didnt know what we wanted to do, build or reno again and buy the time we were ready we couldnt afford. avg land price for shire now is 420 for 500m2 totally unreasonable. so we put our beakons on and found Loretta at the Acres and said lets follow her...lol... but yes we have always been in the shire... our choice was either the Acres or the Gong. My wife has family friends there so it was the natural choice. so i will be travelling to gong everyday for work. things we do fer women. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=37134 THE THREAD https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35962 THE BLOG! http://pedrosinspiredbeauty.blogspot.com/ BRICKS BRICKS ARE FINISHED... Oh I spoke to the builder...the windows have been placed like that on purpose... the reason for this is to make the corner look like all glass giving the illusion of space.... dont know if i agree with it but thats what they said https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=37134 THE THREAD https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35962 THE BLOG! http://pedrosinspiredbeauty.blogspot.com/ BRICKS BRICKS ARE FINISHED... At least you won't be paying rent lucky you. We went with Adjacent fencing contact no 0414354312. For one side it was $1800 (went halves with neighbour) and extra $600 for retaining sleepers under fence. They also did a fixed panel on one side & single gate on the other side for $400. Another guy wanted to charge us $1800 just for the retaining wall! The fence was 29 metres of 1800 high lap & cap. Nice guys & we were happy with the job they did. Please don't hesitate to ask for recommendations as I'm happy to help out. I think you would have received neighbour notification from council if next door was two storey unless it went through before you purchased the land So G changed builders hey that must have been hard to do!
