Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 20, 2010 2:27 am Hi all, we've been trying to work out manual operation of our gliderol sectional garage door. We can unlock it from the automatic garage door operator, but not re-lock it (meaning that it remains unlocked forevermore once we get our hands on it). I thought it was just a matter of pulling the string again to re-engage the locking mechanism and secure it with the automatic opener, but it doesn't seem to work that way. We haven't had handover of our house yet, so no manuals have been handed over to work out how things work. It is likely to be the latest motor available on the market, but I don't know what it is (other than being gliderol branded) If anyone could shed some light on the matter I'd be eternally grateful! =) Thanks!! Pull the door down and there is a bar in the middle up the top that has to catch to go back to its original position, you might have to push the bar forward a bit.... it should click in.
