Re: SWITCH HOMES-Lock up and the final push. 202Nov 26, 2010 9:45 am Have just started to organise all of the handover trades, man it is a balancing act this time of year. Carpet is booked 2 days before Christmas, drive way pavers are being made as we speak, the front fence and pool applications are being processed by local council and the budget painters are standing by for a start date.......ok we are doing the painting . Busy busy busy, I think the only one we won't get done before santa comes is the tiling unfortunatly, but I am happy to live in the cinema until then . 17 JUNE SLAB DOWN 23 AUGUST BRICK WORK COMPLETE 15 SEPTEMBER ROOF COMPLETE 25 SEPTEMBER FIRST FLOAT COMPLETE 5 NOVEMBER LOCK UP 12 NOVEMBER GRANO POURED 27 NOVEMBER TILING COMPLETE 8 DECEMBER DEFECTS FIX AND FINAL CLEAN STARTED https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34992 Re: SWITCH HOMES-IF ALL GOES WELL 20 DAYS LEFT!!! 203Nov 27, 2010 11:28 am Latest news from SS is that he is aiming for handover 13-17 Dec thats only 20 days away. I knew it would be before Christmas but when you say it in days it sounds a lot closer. Pavers are on site ready for install mid next week, garage door is booked in for install 7 Dec. The 2 big things holding us up are the essa stone benches and the glass/mirrors for the bathrooms which obviously have to be custom made. Once they are in it will be doors final paint and handles fitted, 2nd fit sparky and plumber then final clean and fix ups. This next 3 weeks are going to be hectic. Time to start packing up again, get the rental ready for final inspection and then the big move!!!! Luckily we only have to go about 1.5km 17 JUNE SLAB DOWN 23 AUGUST BRICK WORK COMPLETE 15 SEPTEMBER ROOF COMPLETE 25 SEPTEMBER FIRST FLOAT COMPLETE 5 NOVEMBER LOCK UP 12 NOVEMBER GRANO POURED 27 NOVEMBER TILING COMPLETE 8 DECEMBER DEFECTS FIX AND FINAL CLEAN STARTED https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34992 Re: SWITCH HOMES-IF ALL GOES WELL 20 DAYS LEFT!!! 204Nov 27, 2010 12:21 pm yay feggles!! great news my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: SWITCH HOMES-IF ALL GOES WELL 20 DAYS LEFT!!! 205Nov 27, 2010 12:23 pm Woohoo for you guys. Plumbers where fitting toilets and connecting sinks and taps, and paving blokes have started the laundry and alfresco areas. Stone tops are due for fitting today. The sparky is booked in for later this week, so the only thing we are waiting on is the mirrors and shower screen. The site is changing so much every day this week, so I might wait until the weekend to post pics. Very close to PCI now, my guess is late next week/ early the following week. 17 JUNE SLAB DOWN 23 AUGUST BRICK WORK COMPLETE 15 SEPTEMBER ROOF COMPLETE 25 SEPTEMBER FIRST FLOAT COMPLETE 5 NOVEMBER LOCK UP 12 NOVEMBER GRANO POURED 27 NOVEMBER TILING COMPLETE 8 DECEMBER DEFECTS FIX AND FINAL CLEAN STARTED https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34992 Re: SWITCH HOMES-PCI next week possibly. 209Dec 02, 2010 10:56 pm cheers molly2 - when are you starting your thread?
