Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Who is building at Harrington Grove? 1221Nov 08, 2015 6:08 pm As some of you may know, I've been monitoring the market in HG for quite a long time with he intent to buy. Unfortunately haven't done so yet, but still looking and I'm kinda starting to find it difficult to make sense out of these prices. Can anyone explain to me why for example this house seems to be worth $60k and $115k than the 3 below? Same size block, all in close proximity to each other, similar size land and the house etc: http://www.domain.com.au/7-dargin-close ... 57307?sp=6 http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -120752913 http://www.domain.com.au/6-doolan-cresc ... 43297?sp=1 http://www.domain.com.au/51-whitten-par ... 1705?sp=12 I like that house but given those quite recent sales in what was a sellers market at the time, I can't help but wonder if that house is overpriced or if there is something I'm not seeing. The last thing i would want to do is overpaying for house especially in a market that is slowing down. I get that finishes and quality of the inclusions can make difference, but such a huge difference??? Once we move, one of the first thing we want to do is get someone to build a small fence on one side of the alfresco area. Small job, about 2-3 meters long fence and nothing too fancy. Can anyone recommend someone we could hire to do this for us? I have looked at a few others are they seem way too over priced. this one seems reasonable. My home builder did my landscape design (was just for council approval, I'm not following that design) I myself am looking for a landscaper. Please let me know if anyone has a reasonably priced one in our area. Building the Clarendon Merriden 30 (44 after Mods) @ Harrington Grove!
