Laurina.
I brought up the E4 zone issue with the builder but they said it would be fine and it's noted as E4 on the approved report we received from the certifier.

I was skeptical when they said we didn't need to go to council but it looks as though it's all worked out. We have one more selection appointment to go and a valuation from the bank then it's build, build, build!!!!!! I don't want to pull the plans from HG and fluff around with the builder again just so they can get things wrong, again. Has anyone altered what they did landscape wise from the plan once they built?? Re: Who is building at Harrington Grove? 1205Aug 29, 2015 6:46 pm Leeleh. We knew we weren't going to follow the landscape plan we submitted to HG. The worst that can happen is you lose your $1000 bond for not following landscape plan/or not doing on time etc Building the Clarendon Merriden 30 (44 after Mods) @ Harrington Grove! Leelah, Brian told me as long as you notify him of any changes to your landscape plan & he approves it, it's fine to change what u submitted. I have purchased investment properties off the plan in the past and after reading your link i count myself lucky and doubt I'll ever do it again.Thanks. Re: Who is building at Harrington Grove? 1211Sep 08, 2015 4:34 pm Hopefully its a cautionary tale and reason why you need a good solicitor and read any contracts with a fine tooth comb. These families even had contracts in place though it did not protect them. Henley/Edgewater are building a strip of homes in the Grove. They are advertised as Mainvue Homes and are on Forestgrove Drive, just after the Magnolia club. At least they are all in construction or nearing end of construction so this kind of problem shouldn't exist. Doesn't mean that others wont surface. Be vigilant in your dealings with them. Mostly over $500k. Michelia just had a new release and sold over half in days. You can see the new lots here: http://masterplan.harringtongrove.com.au Re: Who is building at Harrington Grove? 1214Sep 25, 2015 3:00 pm Hi All Mu name is Mark , ive just bought in Michelia , i look forward to living in what appears to be a wonderful estate Re: Who is building at Harrington Grove? 1216Sep 26, 2015 4:54 pm Hi Again exchanging on monday with the expected land register time of approx may-jun next year which suits me can anyone give me some feedback on what its like living in HG Land with these sizes are rare and i believe in time very few if any subdivisions will release land over 600 m2 with the average of 450 ensuring estates like HG should always hold its point of difference from the others is it true the area will be in the flight path or is it still going to run east west ??? Mark Re: Who is building at Harrington Grove? 1217Oct 15, 2015 4:44 pm Hi Mark, Congratulations on your recent purchase sorry that it has been so quite here on homeone. I wish I could give you any feedback on how it is to live in HG, we are still on the building stage. We are currently building in Magnolia. Our weekends are mostly spent in the Country Club- we have two young kids and they both love a dip in the pool. So far it's been great. We have met friendly families that also live in the estate. I agree with you about the sizes of released lots in HG, one day it will difficult to secure them. As for me and my husband it will be a win win whether we decide to settle for many years to come living here in HG or we decide to sell in the future. Come to Country Club one weekend and meet your future neighbours
Re: Who is building at Harrington Grove? 1218Oct 18, 2015 9:26 pm Hi Mark! There's a new Facebook page for Michelia residents to join and start networking if you're interested? It's under 'Michelia @ Harrington Grove'. It's new so hopefully we can start building up a nice little group to chat about our builds etc. Re: Who is building at Harrington Grove? 1219Nov 06, 2015 8:39 pm I attended an information night for the proposed Western Sydney Airport and for those wondering how it will affect Harrington Grove I can safely say we have nothing to worry about. The runways are orientated such a way that the flight paths won't be near us so the noise will me minimal. The website is very good and you can see in the link below the flight paths and also a page where you can put in your address and it will show the noise levels during the day and night and in the future if they add another runway. http://westernsydneyairport.gov.au/resources/maps/index.aspx http://westernsydneyairport.gov.au/resources/deis/noise-tool/index.aspx I asked if there was any new information about the proposed rail line and they haven't heard anything.
