I call my supervisor myself once a week on average. He calls me only when he has questions or updates for various fixes that I requested and also when a particular stage of construction is reached (ie pre plaster completed).
Currently Building in Bayside (Brighton East)

CSR calls once a fortnight plus whenever there is an update or change. The building supervisors doesn't call speaks to teh CSR who relays but if you call him he always takes the call or if the CSR isn't in

Our CSR is terrific, calls regularly and Supervisor quite good. Had our first inspection yesterday and we saw a problem with our vanities in en suite and bathroom. The super phoned the carpenter immediately and within 5 mins the carpenter arrived and corrected the problem. It reminded us of the Yellow pages ad. So impressed with PD so far.

[quote="**Phoenix**"]Just thought that i'd ask the question to all our users:
How often did your builder (or builders representative) communicate with you?
More than once a week,
Once a week,
Was it enough?
Were you satisfied with their levels of communication?
Did they do what they promised they would do?
Once a week it was a rule but we got more often - depends on the the work.
We laso have been receiving emails with a longer - month or two schedule of the work.

We live only 400 metres from where we are building (I measured exactly!) - so you can imagine the level of communication we will expect to have - first name basis and know everyones kids names as well!! hehe
We already go for a walk everyday just to see our block (empty the mailbox etc)!!
-Bought house in Melbourne inner burbs, knocked it down & now...we are owner builders! Completed OB project and moved in to our new home with our new baby in May 2009!
