We have semi commercial in our living areas, we are loving them. There really is a difference in frames, does make for heavy stacker doors though I must say! Re: SunshineT's Dollshouse: windows arrived finally!!! 1336Apr 04, 2012 10:16 am SunshineT gogo65 As for progress - absolutely nada nada nada. When we were told "windows Monday or Tuesday" I didn't expect it, but of course when it really didn't happen it just compounds the feeling of The brickies came yesterday and did a great job, but they can't do any more work as waiting for windows and more bricks (supposed to come yesterday, and by today still nada bricks). With A being away our job really has stalled, as A does the ordering and stuff, and M kept saying to wait till A comes back. NOT a happy Zenner at the moment at all. Plus the weather has been just perfect. Something not good going on with the windows, as scgia indicated too... T, you will have to console yourself with the fact that you ordered semi-commercial windows which for some reason area taking a while to get to you - when you could have had the common old windows like the rest of us and no delays ... I know what I'd rather have The waiting around is a killer though - you need to find something else to think about ... any more selections to be made??? For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!! Re: SunshineT's Dollshouse: windows arrived finally!!! 1337Apr 04, 2012 10:23 am That sucks that your build has slowed because of A being on holiday. He must be back soon yeah? Sending you big 'window delivery' vibes so things can get going again T (insert fingers crossed smiley here..) Re: SunshineT's Dollshouse: windows arrived finally!!! 1338Apr 04, 2012 10:53 am ~steph~ We have semi commercial in our living areas, we are loving them. There really is a difference in frames, does make for heavy stacker doors though I must say! steph - I am actually consoled by this post. We chose sliding doors and just recently (when I saw the potential awesome flow from the Living to the outdoors) I was lamenting that I hadn't stuck with stacker doors (which was in our original plans). But hearing about how heavy they would be I am a little relieved. greenfish, Annette, gogo, willcres, jodge - thanks for your encouragement. I know there are bigger problems in the world, and hey, it's not like I am waiting on that horror pipe anymore. Can't believe not a cloud in the sky today - I am sure we are due for more rain soon, no doubt just when we are up and ready to go again... Will keep you posted...
