Re: Painting experts, HELP! 4Jun 07, 2010 1:09 pm You can, we used some fluid that we wiped over the oil-based paintwork, waited for it to dry and then painted over with the acrylic paint. I can't remember the name of the fluid we used though. We did this about 6 or 7 years ago, and have had no peeling.
