Getting in by Christmas is the $64,000,000 question the SS said he would try but he did say be prepared that it would be all but finished by Christmas and then would just sit there for all of Jan. I hope you can be in by Christmas. Having your finished house sit empty for a month will not be fun. I saw the termite guy on Friday and someone was there yesterday as well, working inside. Love your bricks! Looking forward to seeing them when I look out my windows! We move in Tuesday week. Make sure you drop in for a hot choc (or glass of bubbly). Do you think you'll be in by Xmas? Thanks Flaggie! Getting in by Christmas is the $64,000,000 question the SS said he would try but he did say be prepared that it would be all but finished by Christmas and then would just sit there for all of Jan. Looks like we're in the same boat Herbiecat. Our SS said the same thing to us (You and I are both pretty much at the same stage in our builds!). I dread having the house just sitting there with nothing getting done over the summer holidays . Fingers crossed for us both that we will be spending our christmas break moving into our houses! P.S. Yay for the brick wall!! Re: Herbiecat's Hartley - Bricks, we have a wall!!! 333Sep 20, 2010 10:35 pm brb_654 I love it love the colour!! Great workmanship, looks terrific!! Darn rent inspection on Thursday so running around like a mad woman cleaning the house up! Barwon374 Looking good herbie! At least they are cleaning the bricks as they are going. Thanks Barwon they are reasonably clean but will still need some cleaning as they have a white smear on them which isn't part of the brick! Donski Looks like we're in the same boat Herbiecat.
