Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 05, 2010 5:49 pm Gange Design has drawn up a design to fit on our weird block (120m long north-south orientation). North toward the front is normal width, but south end of block is ultra-narrow (8-9m).
He has come up with a design with minimal corridors and open planned. House will hopefully be practical over aesthetic. Photos to come when I work out how to upload! (Thanks $) http://s975.photobucket.com/albums/ae23 ... n%20Build/ Note that I am keeping the 20 sq brick house at the northern street-front part of the block. I will use this as part business. The new build is on the middle third of the long block. It is not dual occ, but could be if we sought council permission. To avoid red-tape we are "connecting" it, so it is an "extension". I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 13261 Keen to hear from people in the area who have got KDRB done on whom they got the build from? Looking for recommendations. Thanks 0 21118 |
