Hope to take possession of my new house in the next couple of weeks. When you do the walk through and you (or your inspector) spot some faults, do you with hold the final payment or some of it until it is fixed? Does the builder then not give you possession of the house until all probs are fixed and full payment is made? Can you take possession anyway and pay up in the hope that any faults will be fixed?
Just trying to get an idea of when I should give notice in my rented property!
