Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 46Jun 21, 2011 11:04 am HSP701 Hi.. Just heard bank from our bank. They have valued the house and land package at a lesser price then what we are paying. They say its due to falling house prices and the valuer has also compared it to all estates in cranbourne east and says this is a very average estate. Is anybody else facing similar problems? Please reply. Sorry to hear that. We are looking in the same whereabouts. How much lesser has the bank valued it? How much did your house+land package come up to (I'm guessing a 400/500sqm)? I am keen to know if anyone else is facing this too...I certianly hope things work out for you. Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 47Jun 21, 2011 11:10 am HSP701 Hi.. Just heard bank from our bank. Dont let that get you down.. we had the same probelm when we built years ago justs down the road in Eve (Seems to be a common problem in many new estates as the sales history isnt there). Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 52Jul 05, 2011 2:20 pm Yes took a drive around and i think all titled blocks now have for sold signs and block sizes on them. We should have a site start date in the next 1-3days can't wait. We aint going to have much of a back yard.. but i guess that's what most of these parks are for around the areas. Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 56Jul 17, 2011 8:01 pm We are stage 10 and were expecting titles in october but got a letter from stockland the other day stating that it's been pushed back 4 months to february 2012. It sucks man, how much longer do we have to wait. Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 57Jul 18, 2011 7:52 pm Hey all, I have lot 662, supposed to title in May and now received a letter saying late september! Is so very frustrating! So far have been delayed 4 months and is costing me an extra 4k!!! Fingers crossed no more delays! Is anyone else building in stage 6? Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 59Jul 19, 2011 5:26 pm I think at this stage pretty much all stages have been pushed back 4 months except 7, which is settling before stage 6. My letter stated delays in the titles office as well as the wet weather issues. Its so frustrating!!! Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 60Jul 25, 2011 11:52 am Yuhu....seems like things are falling in place. Site Start: 20-Jul-2011. Slab will be done in 2 weeks time. Exciting....Exciting.... P.S: Sorry to hear about all the delays with other stages. I guess it all works out well in the end. Don't get too stressed. The warning is on the sticker on the door too.
