Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 03, 2010 9:33 pm Hello all, Of one of the 100 or so issues spotted during the 1st PCI, we came across light switches that were positioned in the wrong place. Now I think the SS is trying to pull the dodge on me again and say that this will be rectified after handover when they install the appliance. Apparently the electrician will do a pass and check anything that was left out. This does not seem right. Has anyone come across this and would anyone have experience on if this should be rectified before handover? Re: Missing electrical points at 1st PCI 5Jun 03, 2010 10:27 pm ^^ agreed. Make sure everything you had in your tender/contract/plans is in your house - including all electrical points. They need to fix them if they are in an incorrect position, and also redo plaster work and painting on those areas....that's the whole point of the PCI.... Good luck! Control joints may reduce ugly cracking during periods of soil… 3 9863 Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed.
