Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 15, 2007 11:56 am Hello all and Michelle!
How does this colour combination work? http://www.teamit.com.au/home/colourTest.gif Just want to know I'm doing anything totally wrong. It is a bit hard to get the real colour to PC and display them the same way on each monitor though. The best I could do was to get the pics of bricks & roof tiles from the respective company websites. Going to spend the whole day tomorrow with Allcastle to finalise the final final modifications and any upgrades (i hope not many) - devank Re: External colour advice 2Oct 15, 2007 1:12 pm Devank……let me see I understand your representation….

Well that's my taste, anyway. We have black roof, black gutters, cream fascias (or whatever colour you call it) and cream doors, including the garage door and those wood panels over the windows. oh and our window frames are black and we have dark brown bricks. So yours is similiar but you have added red/maroon in there as well. I like it! THEY HAVE FINISHED THE HOUSE AFTER NINE LONG MONTHS... BUT! The carpet is the wrong colour... Re: External colour advice 4Oct 15, 2007 4:04 pm That's right.
Black roof. Cream Gutters (generally people chose black) Maroon or dark red Fascias (that's something new. We thought it would give some character) Brick - I don't really know how to name that colour! (mix of cream, pick & brown?) Black windows with that new tough security net.. Cream garage doors. Black Driveway (or dark) Maroon or reddish pathway around the house. - devank Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time. At 17m long you need it… 1 17379 Before you rip it up, if you can in the grout lines, drill some holes and pour/inject techgrip by sika. I have used it to bond mdf to timber, but in the process it dripped… 1 4289 |
