Downstairs office is DH's upstairs is mine (and I imagine the kids'!!). We work very differently and really do need our own spaces. I also need mine to be somewhere the little ones can play within earshot while he would rather not hear them when he's working.
The sitting area began as my quiet sitting room but had to shrink to fit a car turning area outside. It will now be a little library, somewhere quiet to escape the din but not to entertain.
We did design that little nook in to fit a piano. We're holding off on buying it until it has a proper home - and so the piano mover can get it up the stairs! My parents have an upright grand and the sound is awesome, we really wanted to fit a baby grand in to our house.
I certainly do have elevations and can't wait to share them. I have been consumed with prep for our colour appt but will get them online soon.
Colour tomorrow - woo hoo..
