Just double check out pricing and its actually $140 per handle. Cost us $1120 all up for the handles. We have had the side of the house (a pathway) flooded a couple of times by neighbours property. We have added two drains in the backyard to stop this happening again. We Also have a rear tap with no drain under it which I'm sure can't be right ? But anyway all sorted out we seem to have fixed the drainage issues and for first time in 4 months I have a dry backyard woo hoo! Pool is finally done ! Let me say to anyone considering a pool - don't go near better pools and spas . Been an absolute nightmare trying to get them to finish the pool but it's finally done . Here are some pics. Good luck with all of your builds great to see everyone making progress. We are Pretty happy with the quality of the house mjh built. Few minor issues that have been sorted . Don't think I would ever go through all this again but we have a lovely home now that we love. Buildingthegardenretreat.blogspot.com.au Pool looks great Sarah. Good to see it finally full of water. Happy days!! We too are really happy with the quality of our build and it looks like we will be doing handover on Friday. Can't wait!!!! We are meeting a concreter at our house on Friday and are thinking of going the exposed aggregate. Isn't that what you ended up doing? If so, would you mind posting some photos. Thanks. We have been building on the Mid North Coast at Diamond Beach and it seems the whole process has longer than we hoped. MDJ will need to start paying us $35 per day after the 17/2 & will keep you all posted if they honour this. Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 13050Feb 11, 2016 10:53 am . Or similar Would love to see some pics please Cheers, Mel Great colours, hubby and i are tossing up with these colours aswell and would love to see any pics anyone has:) my hubby also likes monument roof but dune garage door but im more for mon roof and garage door, dune facia and bag n paint to our front post Hey Kye16021, Thank you. We really like the colours, but concerned it will all be too much "dark" colouring. If you did do the min roof, garage & dune bag n paint, what window colour would you do?? Cheers, Mel Building the Manhattan One, Central Coast, NSW Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 13052Feb 11, 2016 8:41 pm our6acres Hi Mel, we did monument roof, dune bag and paint to entire house and caoba garage door. Above the garage and the cladding above front entry way is now painted surfmist. Wow those colours looking so good together, very striking. I think we are trying to go for this look Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ (sorry not the best picture) But are concerned what we like in a picture, won't look as good in real life. Would love to see a picture with your garage door down Cheers, Mel Building the Manhattan One, Central Coast, NSW Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 13053Feb 11, 2016 8:47 pm That looks beautiful, thanks heaps for posting. And do you think the roof and garage door are the same colour?? We used this colour but with a Surfmist roof. The roof in the picture looks slightly darker than the garage door but maybe it is because of the different angles?? I think someone quite a few pages back also used Manhatton but with a monument roof and posted pictures if you want to go searching for it. I think it was CWiseman. Its still a metal door but it is wood look. I think around $700 upgrade. (Editing to add: it is a computer generated pic though so i think trying to guess what things are is a difficult task!)
