Next thing for me to work on is the driveway. Driveway is about 60 sq. plus a side path. Can anyone give me an idea of the cost per sqm for a concrete driveway. The sales office told me to budget for $15k, but that seems a lot to me. Any ideas what I should be prepared for? Between $120 - $150 per sq. Pay's to shop around if your ok doing it after handover. Hi, We got quoted about 11 or 12k from memory for mjh to do our driveway which is 42sqm........that was for the 3 paint speckled one that they have in the display homes, sorry I don't know the correct name. Hi David I rang a concreter a couple of months ago and he quoted me approximately $65.00 per square metre for plain concrete with oxide added through the whole mix. It would then cost an additional $200.00 for the cost of the oxide. He also quoted approximately $105.00 per square metre for exposed aggregate depending on the stone you choose. We are not sure yet what finish we will decide on for the driveway as we were only just put on the construction list 2 weeks ago. We are at about the same stage as you, so it will be a while before I need to have the driveway done. I am working out the rest of the budget for driveway, fences, window coverings. Looks OK so far. Last thing unknown still is the piercing, and if they will hit rock. They have allowed 120 lineal metres of piering for us so we are really hoping we come in at a lot less and get a refund to put towards our driveway. I would be absolutely devastated if it came in at more Fingers crossed we don't hit rock as well. I will be really happy when the slab is down because then we should know exactly where we stand. Enjoy the ride!!!!
