Castelvania, we are at the same stage as you, do post photos please..did you go with face brick. Kornjen, great colour selections. We wen with the grey floor tile for wet areas, it' darker grey ceramic and it was standard. We will be doing laminate ourselves throughout. I like your brick too. We couldn't find grey enough brick that was coloured through, so went with closest available. Austral then released some grey bricks, but I think theses would have been too expensive anyway. Em.Russ, hope you have a quick council approval. In terms of waiting, we found the hardest part to be between council approval and site start. I'm not going to update much, expect to say that bricks are finished and fascia was being put up early this week. Not sure what is happening now, will see tomorrow. taki Building Havana Elite with side HT with MJD 20/04/11 DA approved by council 06/06/11 cut/fill 08/06/11 piering 20/6/11 slab 11/8/11 frame complete 18/9/11 lock up 28/11/11 handover booked McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 1079Aug 26, 2011 10:16 pm kornjen thanks gavmer1... anyway, we are finished with our color selections and we have signed off the plan also.. had a few changes like removing a small window at the front, converted the internal gas to an external one in the alfresco... Or can they do something similar when you want to decide on kitchen colours? Were tossing up between paying a bit exta ($18k) and getting the Havana with a kids activity room and home theatre or just going with our original plan of the Sorronto with one living area and just the 4 bedrooms - but then not having much left over to get the nice plantation shutters, driveway and landscaping etc Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 1080Aug 26, 2011 10:45 pm hi.. we took the dark gray tiles from the standard selection also...
