Browse Forums Building A New House Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14302Aug 10, 2017 4:44 pm ourforeverhome It seems when I post one this site I get private messages from MJH? I have some questions? 1. How are you associated with MJH what department/office are you affiliated with)? 2. Could you supply a phone contact for customer complaints? 3. I would like to speak with them and when I attempt to do this through my head office no one can tell me how to contact them. I am not comfortable giving my job number and personal details to a random blogger but would like to contact customer complaints. Thank you Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14303Aug 10, 2017 5:12 pm ChristineA ourforeverhome It seems when I post one this site I get private messages from MJH? I have some questions? 1. Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14305Aug 16, 2017 9:46 pm allatonce Can anyone advise how I get onto facebook page for building with MJH? I'm not very facebook proficient and cant find it. Search for Building with MJH. Go onto the page and click on "join". Once the admin has approved your request you will be able to view the content as its a closed group. I think you will have to answer few questions to verify that you are building with mjh . We are looking at building with them within the next few months. Two years ago we built with Coral Homes and were so disappointed so we really want to find a good builder this time around. Thanks Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14310Sep 13, 2017 10:07 pm tashan Hi everyone, We have just put our $1000 deposit down and are awaiting the quote on a San Marino 15. It is a house and land package so we are hoping the costs don't blow out too much. I look forward to being a part of the forum. Hi Tashan, Has your place already been built? We are building the same.. interested if you have any pics Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14311Sep 16, 2017 9:04 pm Hi All, We are just about to get into a Build with McDonald Jones and building the Miami 16 Executive with a slight modification to the Ensuite to include a Free Standing Bath. ( for an additional $1500 ). Also would like to see if we can add a butlers pantry into the Walk in Pantry. Question I have is that we are getting as part of the house as a promotion is the Actron SRA203 - 2 -Zone, 9 Outlet Ducted air-con. Is the system good enough for a house that would be about 295sqm? I cant find the Model on the Actron website. we are taking the Ducted Air-Con system instead of the Flooring option. Flooring, we were told is cheaper than the Ducted Air-Con system. Has anyone else built with MJ with the Miami 16 Executive design. What is your experience with MJ and their follow through with your builds? Thanks OurFirstBuild Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14313Sep 22, 2017 4:25 pm Firstbuild92 Hi, Just wondering what reviews people are giving MJH at the moment? Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14314Sep 25, 2017 7:02 pm Hi All, We received an SMS today that our frames have started to go up. Woohoo! So far, we have been happy with the speed of the progress but I understand it's the internal stuff that takes the longest. We are building the San Marino (1 storey) with hebel - interested to know from when the external was all up and finished - for those who have already moved in, how long it took for you to receive the keys? Thanks! Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14315Oct 06, 2017 6:52 am Kizmo Firstbuild92 Hi, Just wondering what reviews people are giving MJH at the moment? Coral were supposed to come back in September and fix everything which was agreed in February (I even have a letter from them) but they never come and have been ignoring me since. Surprise surprise! Really crap. Maybe I should ask who the SS's are working for them before we sign! Did you guys end up building again or buy? Thank you Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 14320Oct 18, 2017 10:51 am Hi, I am in the process of deciding on a builder and quite like the MDJ Edenvale design. From the base price, how much should be budgeted for upgrades? The upgrade packages they have aren't as good as other builders.
