We are on the construction list to build the Monte Carlo exec elite at Diamond Beach. Any tips on looking out for issues at critical stages? Cheers........Steve Congratulations Steve We only went on the construction list yesterday. We too are building the Monte Carlo Executive. We are building at Wallabi Point which I think is fairly close to you. Our builds are going to be really close together. We are just waiting on a call from our site supervisor now. Exciting times ahead!!! How many lineal metres did they allow you for your piering? They put 120 lineal metres in our tender but we are hoping it comes in at a lot less and get a refund. I certainly hope it doesn't go the other way and come in at more CathyLeigh Thanks CathyLeigh, I've just checked the tender & they have allowed 40 lineal metres. Out block is pretty flat with a cut/fill situation & sandy soil. Incredible how we are on the construction list at the same time. I'm happy to keep in touch and swap news/ideas. I'd say the same tradie team will building ours & yours. Cheers.............Steve Re: McDonald Jones Homes - The new thread 11077Jun 03, 2015 9:21 pm patte_au Jazz926 For those who got or currently using the Actron Classic how are you finding the cooling and heating performance? We were told the Actron Classic is only a two zone system, however on the Actron website it states that's it an 8 zone controller does anyone know if we are able to re-zone it after handover? Hi jazz, We too are asking that same question. We were told by MJH that more zones mean upgrading to ESP.. But when we went to actron & they told us the classic was more than capable to heat / cool our house.. Just add more zones.. up to 8... So will be asking MJH a few questions bout this... Thanks Patte, that's good to know. Our house is only 24sq so I think the Classic SRA 133 should do the job. We have 2 zones (day and night), but we'd like to keep the master bed as a separate zone. But we were told by the pre-colour selection consultant that we may not be about to do that , bcoz there has to be more than one outlet open for the air to flow properly. Anyone in the same situation? Also, should we do the air con zoning at the colour selection or electrical?
