A house sitting without progress payments means the builder is losing time and money. they don't let houses sit for a reason, I would say it is due to trades being so busy. We did not get keys until the 26/7/12, during that time they pulled down the front brickwork and re did it. After moving in they also had to retile all our flooring, so we had quite a few hiccups. It took a full 12 months from keys to our house actually being fully fixed. We are rending a MJH home and its of very high quality Hope this gives you an idea of timelines... for another build.
