I've always wondered if the grout was not what I ordered/expected so I went through my contract this morning and looked through the colour selections and to my surprise the grout colour for the floor reads.... 202 Midnight!!!!!! To my understanding, midnight is well... black or close to it right? I have however noticed that the grout changes to a darker colour when wet then goes back to light when dry. I knew when I first picked the tiles, that I wanted the darkest grout colour I could have and it was suggested to us by our colour consultant Erin to have the dark grout on the floor and since we were using the same tile on the wall, then to go with a lighter one for the walls which is 311-Slate Grey! To me, both the wall and floor grout is the same and does the same thing when wet, so perhaps the tilers got it wrong and used the one grout colour. Perhaps I should ring her and get her advice on what to do. Any other suggestions anyone?
