(if your posting any) It's all go from here What colours did you go with? Re: RedInk Homes - Custom 5000 in WA 11Oct 11, 2010 9:12 pm Hey, We picked whitecliff for our brick. My bathroom & ensuite floor tiles are 400 x 400 grey polished porcelain, white 200x400 tiles for the skirtings & showers with a 200 width strip of 1x1 silver glass mosaic down the shower and across the bottom of the mirror across the vanity. What design are you building? Tam Builder: Gen1 Homes Design: Custom Strata Location: WA Re: RedInk Homes - Custom 5000 in WA 12Oct 11, 2010 11:47 pm i am building view - but with lots of changes. it is only by name view but nothing like view at all. this is our first home and i am so very confused. my prestart is on wednesday this week. Do they charge heaps if we select out of builder's range tiles? I've had nothing but frustration with this builder and whilst i understand you get frustration with every builder this is beyond a joke, i paid thousands to upgrade to high gloss white vinyl wrapped doors in the kitchen and they cant even put handles on straight?! and where is the supervisor in all this? our back window was also left wide open prior to xmas break and we have spent the last two days cleaning the house out ready for the tilers to start on the 10th. They claim they have 'service above and beyond' but i'm still yet to see it! Tam Builder: Gen1 Homes Design: Custom Strata Location: WA Re: RedInk Homes - Custom 5000 in WA 16Jan 02, 2011 2:17 pm this is very disappointing. i am sure though that they will fix up stone top in bathroom - they have to - even if they replace that. Talk to the builder about gutter and doors paint. how come there is no drain in ensuite toiler. I thought as per law they have to have floor waste in all the wet areas. don't worry about breakin - builder has to sort that out. I love your essa stone in kitchen. Is that white truffle? Re: RedInk Homes - Custom 5000 in WA 17Jan 02, 2011 5:31 pm Hey Tam, good to hear from you after loong... I just gone thru ur post & i tell ya it was a hard read .. Redink has to fix all issues as they have stuffed these in first place.. We went to our site during X-mas break (as our tile work was in progress) & we discover few more issues with lthe aundry cabinets.. I am going to speak with my CLO soon.. About the existing issues, our Redink area manager is going to me meet me on site to discuss all the existing issues .. I am bit disappointed with Redink , hope they will recover their image by end of our job.. Regards, Aussie123... Re: RedInk Homes - Custom 5000 in WA 18Jan 02, 2011 6:08 pm Hi tamallen, We are new on here, also building with redink and strangely enough at Lake Coogee Estate. So far they have been very proficient, and have kept us in the loop the whole time. We've had our block since about August 2010, and are waiting now for our slab to go down. Your home is coming along beautifully, here's hoping the tradie errors are fixed promptly... they have to be anyway so rest assured I dont know one person who's build has been 100% perfect! The stress will be worth it in the end, it's such a lovely suburb isnt it! Look forward to seeing your completed new home. Re: RedInk Homes - Custom 5000 in WA 20Jan 02, 2011 11:34 pm Hi there, basically we went to a redink display home and knew what we wanted for front elevation and internally, so the salesman we met started with the basic plan 'the view' and from there have got the house we wanted, which looks nothing like the view haha! At prestart it was mentioned we could have opted for a house from the ocean/star series as our's was adding up to be in the same price range but even then we would have made a dozen changes to get what we wanted, it was all so confusing Havn't got my own thread as yet, will have to find the time! Are you building redink too?
