Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Demolition Recommendations in Melbourne 2May 30, 2010 10:30 am Ours was just over 10k for a three bed BV home with a big garage, a large concrete slab and driveway and asbestos in eaves. Ours was Eastern Suburbs. We went with Online Demolition and have no complaints. We removed the tin garage ourselves but the demolisher broke up and disposed of the concrete slab. I am reluctant to recommend them as they took nearly 3 months from when I booked them to do the job. Once they started it was all over in a week and they left nothing behind. We're building a new house in Richmond, but first want to replace the old earthenware pipes that have been there since 1903. Our plumber was ready to do that on 13 Jan 2012. Our builder was ready to start on 16 Jan 2012. The guy from Monash said our house would be down by 14 Jan. He didn't do the demolition till 7 February. Four times he told us, 'I'll be there Monday' (or Tuesday, or Wednesday...), so we'd re-book the plumber, and the plumber would re-book the backhoe, and each time he didn't show up, costing the plumber and backhoe operator other work. When he finally did the demolition, he used a machine that his machine operator admitted was 'way too big', and managed to completely wreck our footpath, which we'll have to replace at considerable cost. Re: Demolition Recommendations in Melbourne 7Feb 12, 2012 8:07 pm We also used online demolition in the eastern suburbs. Generally good, the odd communication breakdown, but no problems with the work done. Ended up just under $15k, including removal of several trees and lots of concrete, and asbestos. I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45560 Hello, we can help you please get in contact 0421019219 thank you 3 31852 I ended up going with 'Andrew Belic Construction Co.' https://www.instagram.com/andrewbelicconstruction/ 2 59683 |
