Fingers crossed x Your floor plan is awesome by the way!!! Thanks a lot ... Not all that far from you either There are so many house's going up around Tarneit, Derrimut and Point Cook at the moment. We are currently living in Caroline Springs so we drive past Brimbank Gardens to go to our block or when visiting the DW parents in Hoppers Crossing Apparently you guys are getting a shopping centre soon .... Wish we were getting one closer to us. It's abit crazy in the West isnt it? It isn't a big shopping centre, just one with a Coles and other things. Similar to the Burnside one I believe. Which estate in Tarneit are you building? Re: FlagstaffIV Build - Off to take pictures of my pipes! 27Jun 06, 2010 12:19 pm Yeah, even a small one would be good for us. I think you are getting a Servo too???? We are in Manhattan Place ... Down in the corner of Sayers Rd and Tarneit Rd (http://www.manhattanplace.com.au) We did look at Truganina and Derrimut, but they were all slightly higher to purchase the land for the blocks sized over 650sqm. But that is good for your resale value down the track if you ever wanted too, and the freeway access is so close to you now, i will miss that. Nice big block! Ours is only 448sqm. It's abit ridiculous that if you 10 minutes up the road (Williams Landing) you end up pay 50k more for land. (IMO anyway) I looked at Tarneit too but the proximity to everything from Brimbank Gardens was what made me choose. I also looked at Caroline Springs and Taylors Hill... boy! We're they expensive!!! I know alot of people don't like the area because it close to the jails but that really doesn't bother me. Well hopefully you'll forget about the freeway access when you're living in your dream home!! Love your pipes Flaggie Hope the weather holds out for Friday so you get your slab with no issues - it's sooooo exciting to finally get to walk around on it Re: FlagstaffIV Build - Pictures of my pipes! 31Jun 06, 2010 9:17 pm Thanks Dilla! I wanted to take more pictures close up except I was ruining my shoes! I went shopping today to try and find some gumboots but they were either glittery or leopard printy... soooo annoying Re: FlagstaffIV Build - Pictures of my pipes! 32Jun 06, 2010 9:24 pm I know. I couldn't find good gumboots anywhere. But one night I picked up some of my friends from a music festival and one of them was wearing gumboots - so I asked her where she got them from because I couldn't find any (she got them from Bunnings BTW), they'd had a few drinks so she took them off and gave them to me as thanks for picking her up haha So yay for me - free gumboots Re: FlagstaffIV Build - Pictures of my pipes! 33Jun 06, 2010 9:32 pm Thanks for that tip Dilla! Off to Bunnings I shall tomorrow!! Re: FlagstaffIV Build - Off to take pictures of my pipes! 34Jun 06, 2010 11:01 pm flagstaffIV Manhattan Place is quite nice... Nice big block! Ours is only 448sqm. Jails ... hahaha, Preston, Fawkner, Coburg, they were all right next too maximum security jail, pentridge. An it has always been worth a lot more to buy around there. If anyone ever got out, (would never happen), the last thing they would do would be hang around the area ... It is a good area and like you said, closer to everything. Closer than CS Tarneit or Hillside is to the City. You made a great choice.
