Very SMART male Re: Flaggie's Home - Feature wall and concrete pics pg.66 1328Mar 18, 2011 7:35 pm Flaggie I really like the feature wall colour. I am starting to think that something similar to your feature wall may be a better option compared to Plantain from Dulux. Oh, interested to know what colour the fence is. Is it monument? Re: Flaggie's Home - Feature wall and concrete pics pg.66 1329Mar 18, 2011 7:52 pm I love the kahlua milk .....and your exposed aggregate...nice choices Flaggie!!! Re: Flaggie's Home - Feature wall and concrete pics pg.66 1330Mar 18, 2011 8:19 pm Echo Being merely a male I can not possibly have an opinion on colours. Sure you can. You just have to wait for a woman to tell you what it is Very nice Flaggie Re: Flaggie's Home - Feature wall and concrete pics pg.66 1331Mar 19, 2011 8:03 pm Oh wow thank you everyone for your comments... wasn't expecting my thread to be bombarded Echo Being merely a male I can not possibly have an opinion on colours. However , I like what I see. Good lookon' ag too. Yes you can. The Mrs just needs to approve mrsroc Hey Flaggie love the concrete this is what we would like to put around our house, if it ever gets started. Can you tell me what the colour is? Hi mrsroc, our concrete is plain grey with a 30% black pebble and 70% white pebbles (including the yellow toned ones) Dollar Flaggie I really like the feature wall colour. I am starting to think that something similar to your feature wall may be a better option compared to Plantain from Dulux. Oh, interested to know what colour the fence is. Is it monument? Are you still planning on painting the lounge/dining area wall?? Our lounge/dining space is a large communal area so I thought a more neutral tone would work better and then I could add in pops of colour with accessories. Also, if you stand from our doorway you can see the Plantain, Pauley and Kahlua Milk and it made sense in my mind to to set them that way as it seemed like a cohesive look. You place is much bigger than mine, so I think you can get away with more, much like Dee's green feature in the kitchen and Erin's use of tones throughout her house. OMG I sound like a professional LOL! Our fence is Woodland grey, came with our H&L package. Is that the colour your thinking of for your fence? Re: Flaggie's Home - Feature wall and concrete pics pg.66 1332Mar 19, 2011 8:59 pm Hi Flaggie, yes we are still going to paint the wall in the open living area. It will be a dark colour (maximus). As for the spare room I am now thinking of a grey tone and not green. Not sure why-I've just changed my mind. I do love the Plantain though. Master BR will be the hardest colour to choose but I think it may be a dark shade/grey as well. It makes sense. We have fences for the side but we haven't got the front side fence which will include access gates and car gate access-this colour I am stuck on a bit. The most sensisble colour would be monument and that will match the bricks/garage and part of the portico BUT I want more of a feature and not colourbond and not wooden slats or metal slats etc. I must have another look at the colours all lining up in your home. Re: Flaggie's Home - Feature wall and concrete pics pg.66 1333Mar 19, 2011 9:06 pm I've looked at your colours again and I now want the study to be kept at Plantain but just a bit worried it won't flow with the rest of the house-it's the last room in the house at the back so maybe it doesn't need to flow. Must go to paint shop in next couple of weeks and start painting. So many other things to do we just haven't got around to it. Re: Flaggie's Home - Feature wall and concrete pics pg.66 1334Mar 19, 2011 9:06 pm OMG "THE FLAGSTA HAS NAILED IT!" That wall looks absolutely fantastic. you better believe it. Ill be honest i have never been a fan of gravel mix always reminded me of pebblecrete but i dont mind that. the pebbles are a nice mix. I would like to see a full frontal (of the house smarty) showing the pebble with it. I love what you have done and i promise i wont nag for a while JOKES! im on ya within the next week let me give you the tip. hahahahahahahahaha https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=37134 THE THREAD https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35962 THE BLOG! http://pedrosinspiredbeauty.blogspot.com/ BRICKS BRICKS ARE FINISHED... Mmmm yum... Maximus will go very well with your orange feature tile. I tend to agree with you, it would be much easier to work with a grey in your spare room with green accents. I was leening towards painting one of our spare rooms green too but I think it would've been too much. Yup, have to agree with you on the Master BR... I've decided on horizontal stripes, 3 or 4 different colours and different widths. Depending on how big your MBR is, you could paint the whole room a neutral colour so it stands out from the rest of the house. I would go for monument if it will match the features of your house. What kind of materials are you planning on using for your fence then? Dollar I've looked at your colours again and I now want the study to be kept at Plantain but just a bit worried it won't flow with the rest of the house-it's the last room in the house at the back so maybe it doesn't need to flow.
