Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 09, 2007 10:12 am Hi, just wondering if anyone has dealt with 3D Homes at Mernda in Melb. i saw their display on the weekend and was impressed with their Entertainer house. They claim their built houses basically are the same as the display includes all downlights, tiles, carpets etc. They also have a display down at Point Cook where im planning to visit on the weekend. I've done a search on this forum and couldn't find much information on them and they don't even have a website which makes me a bit skeptical about using them to build my house. Re: 3D Homes in Melbourne 2Oct 09, 2007 1:27 pm If someone doesn't have a website i am always sceptical, but that could just be me having too much of a reliance on the internet!!
Find out how many years they have been in operation. A lot of people seem to get unstuck with building houses when their builder goes bust mid way through construction, or even afterwards when things go wrong and the company isn't there any more to be held liable. I haven't ever heard of 3D homes. Sure it isn't a company that makes dolls houses!? hehe THEY HAVE FINISHED THE HOUSE AFTER NINE LONG MONTHS... BUT! The carpet is the wrong colour... May I ask why you chose not to use GJ Gardiner? I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 13234 wondering anyone built with omaxe homes and care to share their experiences. thanks 0 13821 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74688 |
