What sort of mortar did you choose ? Re: The Entertainer : by Dechellis 25Jun 20, 2010 8:31 pm Our bricks are slowly but surely going up ... so here are some 'bricks in progress' pictures ... We have two brickies on our house and we are told that we need 7000 bricks laid. On these calculations I am assuming that it will take around 14 days. They have been working for 8 days so far, so hopefully only 6 to go. I am so glad that I changed my mind on the bricks ... I LOVE these chocolates ... evelyng Can't wait to see some lovely "bricks in progress" photos soon ! What sort of mortar did you choose ? We ended up just going with the Brighton Lite. The off-white mortar was going to be $500 extra plus the variation fee. I'm happy with the Brighton Lite. After almost 4 weeks of bricking, the roof tiles went up in a day. Nothing in the morning and a roof at night!! Yay. Hubby is taking photos today, but we are disappearing for a holiday with family, so might not get to put them up for a while. Hope all you school mums (and dads) are enjoying school holidays Re: The Entertainer : by Dechellis 30Jul 22, 2010 8:31 pm Entertainer Yes ... we have a roof.
