On a another note, I was told that glass splash backs are impossible to clean and while they look great at first they don't stay that way, is that true and are glass tiles any easier to maintain? B Hi & welcome Bumbellina! The rental we are in has a glass splashback and it is no harder to clean than a window! We are having a glasssplash back in our new build after having tiles in the last 3 (and they can be a real PITA to clean-bolognaise sauce & white grout= nightmare...)
