We had our practical completion inspection yesterday and it is wonderful to see it all done. With the company we are using the practical completion is when you will be having the final inspection to check that it is all up to standard and bring to their attention any things that need to get fixed before the bank pays the final money and you get the keys. They should be calling you to set a date/time, but maybe you should follow up if they don't call you in the next few days. When you get the keys, this is called handover. It is an approximate date as the banks can sometimes be unpredictable.
