Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 02, 2007 9:16 pm Hi,
Can anyone recommend how I can go about finding a person to draft up some plans. It looks like the only way we can get what we want is to have someone draft up the plans for us. Can you give me an idea of how much they usually charge? What do types of plans/products would they typically provide you with? We already have a very detailed idea what we want (dimensions, rooms, windows, doors) but need someone who knows what they are doing to put it all together. thanks, MJ Re: Architect/Draftperson for plans 2Oct 02, 2007 11:10 pm Hmmm... we should have designed our own house.
Hubby is a draftsman and we have all the ideas of our dream home. Where abouts are you? Will ask him how much is the charge for CAD drafting your own design.
