Ive got my final exam in 3 weeks to complete my engineering degree, so i dont have much time. probably delay my pre-start by a couple of weeks. Cant rush pre-start. cant wait to have a slab down! you must be loving it Shon. Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 23May 26, 2010 12:14 pm Its pretty exciting actually looking back and remembering the day there was nothing but sand and some weeds. Wow you are busy, I hope that you ace your exam and that pre-start goes well but im sure it will and that ill speak to you before that anyway I cant remember if you know but the eves are not the same white as the alfresco area (thats something they DONT tell you) if you want it the same, ask to have it changed to WA white. We have chosen Flute Milk and Cocoa for our ensuite as well. It looks frickin awesome! We almost chose the same floor tiles but went with something else. I forget what it is now... I think our floor tiles are Mocha, and the laminates are slightly different to your picture. Can't help having great taste Everything seems to be coming along just nicely for you at Summit Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 31Jun 15, 2010 1:33 pm Oh wow! Those tiles are lovely.....where do I find these so popular choices???? Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 32Jun 16, 2010 11:01 am Hi BP! We are currently waiting for our first draft of plans....I can barely contain my excitement!!! Def going to head to Crosby's then....luving those tiles. I love the licorice linea too.....it is in my pile of favourite samples! Such good colour choices...your house is going to look fantastic! Looking forward to stalking....I mean following your Summit build Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 33Jun 16, 2010 11:07 am AmesD Hi BP! Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 34Jun 16, 2010 11:37 am Hi BP Your tile selectins are fantastic. Same as you, building with Summit the Luxxe with some slight changes. Have a look on my thread for the initial plan which still has some minor changes being added Very excited to see the drawn up plans So you have had your plans done and pre start is coming? Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 36Jun 16, 2010 11:44 am Just updated my thread as I had deleted my draft plans, it's the last post on my thread. I think we must be at the same stage then....ours are due end of the month too. Then I think you check over them have any minor changes etc done and then you get your contract to sign then BINGO within a few weeks it is pre start! We have to submit ours to the land developer and council urgh! Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 37Jun 16, 2010 11:50 am I think we're lucky in the fact we dont need to submit it to the developer... we have covenants but they are pretty basic. ie no galvanised tin roofs (colourbond is fine) etc Not wanting to wish my life away but cant wait till the end of the month... the pain is that I'll be away for a week from the 29th... so I hope they're ready for the 28th... so a week doesn't get wasted. Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 38Jun 16, 2010 12:37 pm We have environmental aspects with our devleoper that we have to abide by-part of the reason we loved the land that we found. Solar orientation, window positioning etc No dark colours on roofing etc but all suits us fine. We are waiting for our place to settle and then this big buidling ball can start rolling Re: Summit Xanthus - Aubin Gardens 39Jun 16, 2010 2:45 pm BuildlingPerth, it is scary but our selections are almost the same. We've used Moonstone tiles in the bathrooms, the Flute tiles and Vega Moonstone for our tops in the ensuite. Freaky hehe. But we have great taste! AmesD, Crosby Tiles in Osborne Park have a great range and those Flute tiles are a new range. They probably have more now since we went to do our selections six months ago. Guess where I'll be heading on the weekend....no doubt dragging the other half |
