Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 10, 2010 12:48 pm Hi we have extended our garage by 2 meters and now have 3.2 meters from the side of my house to the fence line our builder has advised that we can put only a 2.4 meter roller door for rear access but we really wanted a 2.8 meter roller door.... I have been looking into it an think that we would have the space for it and I am hoping that the builder is wrong. Can you please help and let us know if it is possible or if there is another size roller door in-between 2.4 and 2.8. Does anyone know exactly what width the brick needs to be on both sides of the roller door? Re: Rear garage roller door size 2May 10, 2010 1:01 pm It really depends on how it is done, obviously the more bricks the better, i would not go any smaller the 1.5 bricks on either size. In saying that 2.5 bricks looks better in my opinion. Also what your saying in the post isnt clear. TO you have a plan that you can post up?? Hi All, see above image. The required setback from the rear boundary in my case is 5m, as you can see the shape of the site and location of the boundary is slightly… 0 5845 Current door width is approx 2700, looking to have double doors fitted 820-820. What size does the frame need to be before door jamb? Thanks 0 2328 |
