It really wasn't that much more expensive than a project home, especially when I have heard so many stories of people spending so much more than the contract price, as surprises kept popping up. We have had no dramas whatsoever, and the building process has been an absolute pleasure. We have made mistakes along the way eg, after the frame was up, and the chippies had finished, we then decided to move a doorway in our media room. We rang the builder, no problems it got fixed (and no extra charge either!). We have picked up only a couple of mistakes they have made, and they were fixed straight away. We are moving in, in about 4 weeks, and we started June, so it hasn't taken long at all. Thats not to say there is anything wrong with project builders, but I can honestly say building has not been stressful at all, and I put that down to a great builder.
