It is harder today and engineering is just a piece of the puzzle. I have been so busy for the last few months I haven't visited here. But the difficulties abound e.g. the planners preference for articulation even with simple basic homes pushes the project into more engineering and more steel beams etc. More expensive and more complexity in the build. We are using our BIM capabilities to "see" how the engineering impacts on the frame. And the plumbing too. With double storey houses, this gets problematic. cheers.
