Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 02, 2010 10:08 pm Hey all does anyone have any pictures of their home in smokey pear and parchment? Just trying to make a decision. ANy pictures? 2May 02, 2010 10:19 pm I don't have a pic, but we have chosen smoke pearl for our internal walls. We chose it after seeing the builder's office painted in it. Its got a touch of pinky-beige tinge to it so no yellow tones. We've gone with neutral brown tones in our house (see my thread for details) and I'm hoping it will all go well together. Sorry, can't say what parchment looks like though. ANy pictures? 3May 03, 2010 9:12 am i have smoked pearl on all internal walls. when i spoke to solver he said it is a good choice. builders use it because it suits grey, brown, beige ets tone furniture. Its a very versatile colour and changes to suit the furniture. I love it i have in my loungeroom living spaces, greys, greens and reds and everyone comments on it nd it comes out a light grey. in the bedrooms they are pinks and again it suits but shoes as a beigy light light cream brown. its a base colour so to speak cause the furniture makes the colour not the walls. i should have a picture somewhere but you have to realise it would look completly different with your furniture and colours picked for kitchens etc. hope this helps building heysen4e through SarahHomes at Milang IM THE PROUD OWNER OF DIRT house into council 22/08 Unconditionally approved 25/09 mortgage docs signed 29/09 land settled 09/10 land titled 22/10 start date about two weeks away!!! http://www.mymilangbuild.blogspot.com/ Re: Solver Parchment or smokey pearl? ANy pictures? 5May 03, 2010 9:59 am Parchment is a soft white- beige. We chose it after looking at a Porter Davis display home that had used it. We are also going for feature walls hence why we didnt want a colour to dominate as we are planning different things with different rooms. We couldnt even get a sample pot of this colour as its too light to make up in the smaller amounts If you go to the porter davis website - the Bondi 52 in Point Cook uses Parchment Re: Solver Parchment or smokey pearl?
