The table has 4 columns - Item - Column 1 Structural Tolerance - Column 2 Non- Structural Framework Tolerance - Reference What do the 2 columns actually mean and what is the difference between them? "All structural masonary shall be built to the specified dimensions within the structural tolerances given in Table 11.1. For non-structural facework masonry the facework tolerances given in Table 11.1 shall apply. For structural facework masonary the tighter tolerance given in Table 11.1 shall apply." For a stock standard brick veneer house most of the brickwork is non-structural (that is what the timber is for). Therefore it is only really the second column that is of importance, if you have any brick piers anywhere (where the brickwork is occasionally two bricks thick) then this needs to be within the requirements of the first column.
