Nice to meet u neighbours!(well sorta). We have land in Arden estate, accross the rd from heritage!! We're going to build through homes now, if the bank will hurry the f up!! Who r all u guys building with n wat stage r u at? Building1, we also were goin to buy in heritage springs, even had a verbal hold on a block, but the sales lady didn't get back to us for 2 months, in the mean time we found a perfect block in Arden Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 6Apr 30, 2010 9:24 pm Hey Davo, We (my boyfriend and I) are building with PD the Stanford 24 and have just got to lock up with fixing starting next week and it has gone so quickly, we only started in March Bigred, our best mate who is currently overseas, is building just around the corner from us with Burbank and has his frame done waiting for roof tiles. It is good to meet some more people from Pakie cuz there aren't many on this forum! Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 7May 02, 2010 12:55 pm Another day yesterday of looking at homes, we saw one by (dare I say it H3nl3y) which could work for us, or also $imonds and we're set to auction our place in June and then move to my mums (she's worried we're going to drive her crazy). As soon as we're sold as long as we've chosen it'll be full steam ahead. Georgie, how have PD been to deal with? We like their homes and if we can make one work..... Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 8May 02, 2010 1:05 pm Lookin at homes n trying to find the right one is so damn hard building1, i know how u feel, it did my head in!!! My wife n I are also moving in with her parents once we start paying the mortgage, right now we are renting, it didnt make sense to keep paying rent and a mortgage, as much as i hate moving into parents place, but hopefully it should just be a couple of months. N Georgie, ur right, there's not many paky people on here, considering how many house's are goin up there, id thought this forum would be full of us paky people!!! maybe everyone has just doesnt wanna admit they're building in paky!!!! haha Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 9May 02, 2010 1:15 pm Davo79 N Georgie, ur right, there's not many paky people on here, considering how many house's are goin up there, id thought this forum would be full of us paky people!!! maybe everyone has just doesnt wanna admit they're building in paky!!!! haha I thought there would be more of us too! My DH was dead against Pakenham, we were pretty close to buying at Botanic Ridge but those powerlines are a bit too close for comfort. So Pakenham won, which is good really. I work for Woolies, and there will be 3 of those by the time they're done, one of them will be at Lakeside with a Big W also and one up at Cardinia Lakes. So i'm glad we're going to be at Pakenham (train line and all, but my DS will love it, the little Thomas the Tank engine enthusiast), it's going to have all the facilities you need, almost country without it being country My DH will have to admit thats where we're moving, and he might even have to tell his parents LOL we bought the block in January, settlement is in 3 weeks and we sell our house in June, to date his parents don't have a clue and won't even know we've moved.......disfunctional anybody?? LOL Lucky we're moving in with my mum.... Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 10May 02, 2010 10:48 pm I'm currently building on Arden Ave.
Interested to see how you go with Homes Now if you use them as i like there TAVERNER 32 display on Webster Way. Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 11May 03, 2010 7:25 pm hey building1 PD have been great for us so far! our sales consultant was really helpful and friendly so that sold us! we had to wait aggggges for our land but our csc kept in touch and sent an email every week asking for an update then as soon as settlement went through they were on our site. we started at the beginning of march and have jsut started fixing so we are really flying now which is so exciting and we have had no troubles with any of the work so far! so yea i would definately recommend pd from our experience! You will hear Bruce Springsteen at 4:00am on a weekday. As for Westfield - yes, they're building that off Cardinia Road. Quite a fair bit of retail is being implemented there. Cheers, Big Red Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 18May 06, 2010 4:24 pm bigred Mate, Pakenham will hate me. You will hear Bruce Springsteen at 4:00am on a weekday. Hey Georgie I'm building the Mandalay. I didn't get to see there display homes in Lakeside, they closed down just before I started looking, but, I've heard they were really nice. The Mandalay has big raked ceilings in the living area which I immediately fell in love with. I think I read somewhere you're building with PD, is that right?
