Hi Janelle,
What estate are you building in in Cardinia Shire? Is it Arden by any chance?
Yes, does anyone know roughly how long the council takes to approve plans? Eight weeks seems so long!
Hi aldavies3 - I'm building in Heritage Springs.
Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 41Jun 09, 2010 3:39 pm aldavies3 Janelle I am curious to know how long council approval takes with Cardinia Shire Council once your builder submits the plans. I'll soon be up to that stage, just wondering how long it has taken others. Their website said it takes 8 weeks, is that about right? Hi Janelle, What estate are you building in in Cardinia Shire? Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 43Jun 10, 2010 10:51 pm I was surprised with the Cardinia council actually, I thought they were actually pretty fast. We applied for a 5 metre setback which took only 2 weeks to be approved, and our building permit was only about 3 or 4 weeks. They were the least of the worries for a change Lisa- Finally in our house!!! Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 45Jun 18, 2010 9:39 am Good luck with the house sell Hopefully it happens for you. Once the building starts it still seems to take half a century. I think the crap weather has scared off my brickies. Ok so maybe they might have gotten blown off the scaffolding in all that wind, but hey- I want it done! At least they are about 3/4 finished. My plaster is supposed to be going in next week so it would be nice to have all the bricks up. Lisa- Finally in our house!!! Not sure if i've seen any of their stuff?? They've got display homes in Cranbourne & Marriott Waters. They do a lot of house & land packages particularly for investors. They are building our neighbours house too and they seem to be doing a good job. We looked at a lot of Porter Davis houses and they are really nice. We couldn't find quite the right plan for us so we came up with our own. Re: Anyone building in Pakenham?? 55Jul 08, 2010 10:29 pm [quote="building1"]Where is everybody?
