Had to be changed considerably to fit on our triangular block . The facade should still look a bit like this but much longer front , higher roof pitch , a half veranda out the front , red brick and ironstone roof Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our land from the right Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ from the left Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ and from the current front ( we are placing our house facing more to the right) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The plan Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Any views ??? Building tip No. 3: A raft slab will not get you down a river. A waffle pod slab does not go with maple syrup. It changes it back to the small one. if you right click the blogspot one and select "view image" then it shows you a larger one. It just goes smaller again when you paste it here --- I've uploaded it to my own webserver - that way I can at least get it up here for you. I can't get a bigger image than this, though. I especially like the main bathroom with a very inventive 3 way bathroom with the vanities on their own little hallway. Very cool looking. With exception of ensuite, all plumbing is grouped well and I like the idea of a little veranda off the laundry so you have somewhere to dry clothes when raining. It has changed alot from the original that he posted earlier on the thread as it was originally about 650m2 we have now reduced it to around 550m2 and something that they are really happy with. He has asked me to upload to the thread for some comments from you guys and what you think of the overall plan and layout. The kitchen is still yet to be decided. Will have a 3D visual of the front facade in the next few days. and some internal visuals in the coming weeks. Thanks heaps guys. http://i788.photobucket.com/albums/yy170/buddedesign/ConceptFinalforforum1.jpg Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Budde Design 3D Architecural Visualizations, Architectural Rendering, Artist Impressions, 2D & 3D floor plans http://www.buddedesign.com nathan@buddedesign.com Re: Custom Design floor plan thread post them here!! 280Jun 09, 2010 2:15 pm Quick couple... I'd extend the theatre room upwards a little and add storage on the dining room side (either a bench to use like a buffet or floor to ceiling storage). I'd straighten out the wall in the theatre room as the above change leaves a little kink behind. Then re-center the door to the theatre. I'd rework the entry from the garage - there seems little point in having a hallway inside the house that only leads to the garage, so I'd put the doorway at the start of the hallway rather than at the garage. This in turn allows you to move the store room door to allow shelf or storage space on both sides of the store room. I'd also move the feature wall to allow for a wider entry space. I think it is more important to have the space in getting things (such as furniture) into the house rather than have a big wide entry into the prayer room. There is plenty of space there to play with it and move that wall to allow for a table or something on the prayer room side. I'd also slightly shorten the feature wall for the same reason - to allow easier access to move things into the house from the entrance. Wider hallways are good, especially when they weave around the way that this one does.
