To give you an idea of how fast that is: My slab was laid on the 17th of May. My frame was completed (trusses on) on the 14th of June. Thats 28 days from slab to frame and 41 days from actual site start date. We have been extremely happy with our builder too (apart from the customer service but thats another story) - the block was cut on 28th August and the brickies started yesterday. I take it that that is fast too?
Great work Mike, looks like they are flying woth you too! Re: The wait is over... 30Sep 28, 2007 12:38 pm Ok, now I'm seriously GREEN with envy!
We were told that we might have our frame starting Monday... You are already so much in front - and we even had our slab a couple of days earlier! Ray. Re: The wait is over... 39Oct 01, 2007 8:35 am so when do you expect to be in by Mike? My Blog... http://ahouseonthehill.blogspot.com/ Re: The wait is over... 40Oct 01, 2007 8:55 am Sorry... wanted to be part of the fun as well
At first they told us before site start that it should be by the end of Feb. We have had a small delay with council from the start, which set us back a month, so i'm assuming by the end of March. We have asked the question to our builder but yet to get a confirmed answer. I can't believe how each builder can vary in time from slab to frame etc.. I know some are heavy volume builders compared to others, but even people with the same builders having such a difference in time. Looks like we are one of the lucky ones. Went passed again yesteday evening, on the way back from Stawell & was disappointed that there was no work done over the weekend... Come on Carlisle. Need to lift your game a little Cheers, Mike.
