We are also building with NBG and can't wait to get the plans and start it all. Keep the pics coming, they are great Thanks Ruralife ... Im planning on putting as much detail into this thread as i can, especially with a heap of pics. I done so many changes to the standard plan and most i can thank for advise from others, and viewing a lot of different threads with photos. This i guess is my way of saying thankyou all for helping create our dream home UPDATE : Yesterday i went past the block and the Concreters were there preparing for the Slab pour which is now scheduled for Thursday (pending weather) Also had our builder come past while i was there and we had a quick chat about a few things. Thanks Deemaree ... Plans are for the slab pour to be on Thursday, was going to be today but they were concerned about the chance of rain ... Typical Melbourne weather though, it is a fine and sunny day, and now tomorrow is scheduled for a chance of drizzle. Im planning on watching the slab pour tomorrow, but knowing my luck they will be there right as i type this post, pouring my slab. So ill be off to bed soon and setting the alarm for 6:00am, i want to try and get out to my block by 6:45am as the concreter said the pump truck will start pumping the concrete by 7am the day they do the slab. The only issue was if there was going to be any decent rain that it would be cancelled, but ive check the weather radar images and it is looking hopefull. Hopefully tomorrow night i can get online and upload all my slab pour photos. We actually also loved a few other builders homes but NGB could not be beaten for price or incusions for what we were looking for. The guy in that photo actually laughed after i took it and said "you got me there by surprise, I bet that one looks like a shocker" and i said, "yeah, but im still putting it on the Net" ... he just laughed and continued on ibfragalot99 Wow, awesome job with the photos. House facade looks great and love your colour choices. We have exactly the same front door, the Sx24. Thanks, my DW chose the house mainly, I was happy with what she wanted, but mainly happy that I could extend my garage out with the Plan. And we moved a few things around on the floor plan from standard. My only request to my DW was that which even house plan she chose, had to have the ability to make the garage size at least 7.5m x 6.5m which this one did. I live in my garage, im just one of those people that love playing around with my tools. LOVE the Humes Savoy XS24 door, you obviously got it 1200mm wide? Well, I spoke to the Builder the other day and we have the Set Out guys (chippies) coming on Tuesday to mark out the Frame on the slab ... Then we are waiting on the Frame to arrive by the following week and our builder has said it will start moving along quiet quickly after that. They said Bricks, Tiles, Colorbond Fascia and Gutters, Frame, Trusses and Windows are all ordered and ready to go. John, our builder from Casa Design and Construction, wants to have another site meeting with us some time that suits us mid this week coming.
