We are in...and loving it...
The move really was a breeze. The only thing that made it tough was that I was suffering badly from hayfever so I sneezed and spluttered my whole way through the move
I've done our first shop at Laurimar and I loved it...so friendly and relaxed. Can't believe I enjoyed doing the shopping
I will take photo's on the weekend. I am confident I know which box has the camera in I just have to get to that box
We are having our driveway commenced today which is exciting and it should all be poured etc by this time next week. Decided to go for exposed aggregate seeing as our facade is quite plain. Then we will rely on the future garden to really make it look special...
Really loving the area in general and our drive into work in the city has been fine and I expect it will only get better once all of the mammoth road works which seem to pepper our entire journey start to ease off...
We've had IntoBlinds in to quote for some venetians and plantations in the house. Getting most of the house except the back sliding doors and rumpus room window as I want to live in the house before I decide what's going to work best there. Venetians should be in for Christmas and the plantations will be done in January.
We've gone with Michael's security doors and he expects installation to be done by Christmas also which is great.
Telstra connected our line yesterday and we hope to have iinet all connected by the end of the week.
And lastly our tanks have been ordered and they should be all hooked up to the house by Christmas.
At this stage I feel like we are somewhat organised.
This weekend will involve more unpacking (although even this is going quite well, but this may have something to do with me re-boxing a lot of stuff to give to charity as if I haven't used it in 2 years I ain't going to use it ) and we will head in to Ikea and purchase our furniture for the study which is pretty exciting.
Ok, enough of me raving on...I will have pics soon.
