We are loving our new h 141Oct 07, 2010 5:57 pm Hi Michelle, Have been reading homeone forum for a little while now, we are still waiting for planning permission to renovate and add another level to our home here in Perth. I love your house and of course your kitchen. I like the ceaserstone white shimmer too and have had a look at a large sample. I just wanted to know how long your benchtop was please? Re: Shellb78 Build- Splashback pic!! We are loving our new h 143Oct 23, 2010 10:26 am Hi Michelle - I noticed you have skirting boards, do you mind if I ask your laid them? The flooring company? Builder? And do you have a rough cost if you don't mind either? They make the floors look amazing. We are loving our new h 146Feb 07, 2011 10:53 am Hi, Has been so long since I posted in here! And I have changed my e-mail address so haven't been getting notifications! In answer to the questions about the pendants, I brought them from our local lighting shop which is in a country town 3 hours east of Melbourne. Not sure what they are called so probably not much help! Will be back with some updated pics once I have checked what the last pics were! Here are the frames and how I want them laid out (I am going to update pics) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Here is one wall I am considering putting them on- above the TV in the dining/living room. I also plan to paint this wall a darker grey for a bit of a feature. Something is stopping me from putting frames on the wall above the tv so not sure Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ One other option is to put them on this wall which is beside the tv (also in the dining/living room) but I would need to buy some more frames (not the same but still black and white) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And lastly- possibly on this wall which is looking towards our entry ( can only see when you walk towards the front door) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Any advice much appreciated!! Re: Shellb78 Build- Where do I hang these?? 150Feb 09, 2011 10:53 am Hey Shell ... just caught up on the last 4 or 5 pages as I wasn't getting any notifications until today Anyway, your home is BEAUTIFUL I love the layout ... love the colours, love the rug! Just had another look at your plan ... I would've loved to have cut out a hole in the ensuite vanity to the laundry cupboard so I could throw my washing in there I've just finished a photo wall in my lounge room but I'm thinking of getting one more lot of black frames and adding them to the end. Took a while (about 3 months ) to get them up but here's what I ended up with. http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj246/kirrabear_2008/Bedrock/Our%20Home/S7300239.jpg I think if you only want the photos that you've already done they could go in the entrance otherwise get more frames and put them on the big wall ... can't wait to see it! Re: Shellb78 Build- Where do I hang these?? 151Feb 14, 2011 1:41 pm I have decided to hang them in the entrance. But haven't hung them yet, am waiting to get some more pics developed! I have decided to hang some canvases on the dining room wall instead! These were originally purchased for the entrance but the wall isn't quite long enough! I was hesitant in hanging them in the dining room because the red in the canvases isn't as deep as the red rug and some other pieces I have, but I have gotten over that!! I love these!! LOL I absolutely love your house, especially your floor tiles! Love the rectangles. Was great to see someone else continue their floor tiling over the bath. Looks stunning! Your outside pictures are even making me re-think our brick choices! I put two of the 11kg ones in for a 12kg mirror on the wall, and its been great for 4 years now. 4 1949 |
