Just an FYI, climbed into roof space... 7 bags of insulation thrown up there, not installed. Congrats, We had heard that the ceiling spread was getting advised it was completed but not done. im surprised they don't pay the electrician to do it after electrical for off Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15564Aug 03, 2017 8:00 pm jonesyGT What timeframe have people had their electrical after colours? We're heading to 8 weeks after colours & no contact as yet. Do we contact electrician or will they contact us? Not getting much information from HO. I think ours was about 2 months after colours, they should contact you but it wont hurt to give them a call just in case. they emailed us. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15565Aug 03, 2017 9:04 pm Tom2016 😡😡 just when you think nothing else could go wrong.. appliance delivery occurs only on Thursdays and they came out to instal, dishwasher, oven, range hood and gas hot water. They said they only got an order off beechwood for a dishwasher and range hood. Makes it hard to move in on Tuesday without hot water.. oh no, are they really going to make you wait until Thursday to install the rest? Be interesting to see how it pans out. Wife was t happy today to say the least Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15567Aug 04, 2017 10:50 am Your kidding, I don't blame her that's just not good enough. This is why we have had no one at our place lately they are all trying to get yours done lol, but seriously I hope they get it all done in time for you, your almost there, not long and you'll be sitting out on your deck, drinking a beer, enjoying that gorgeous view and all this will be behind you. It's only taken 10.5months to get to this stage. Ohh how awesome i bet it's great to see it all coming together. Did u go through the Thornton sales? Pretty sure to post pic it's the middle square when posting that looks like a mountain Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15571Aug 04, 2017 2:17 pm brianna Oh thats a long time we did a knockdown rebuild and we started the demo on Feb 20.While the slab is drying is the longest you won't see movement for 3-4 weeks. After that progress of 1 thing done a week is about whats been happening with us.Who is your site supervisor do you know yet.Ours is Gary Lean and we get know communication from him at all..... We dealt with Cooranbong Office. For some reason the mountain that says link to photos doesn't work on my PC. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15572Aug 04, 2017 6:48 pm Tom2016 jonesyGT Not yet, we did colours back at the end of June. We are into the 28 days though, apparently. I would think they'll call us soon, maybe early next week. Fingers crossed. Seems every time we think we're on the way, a hurdle. We were told to expect our build to finish by end September 2017 as we started this back mid last year. We haven't even started building yet. Jonesy I feel your pain.. we went into Beechwood feb / march 2016 and said we want to build requested tender etc construction started nov 2016 and keys next week. We had some issues along the way but most others on here have a really quick build. So I'm sure once it starts it will happen quick. Beechwood North Coast wouldn't know the definition of fast. Ours has been going 8 months now, bricking started in March and the externals still aren't finished. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15573Aug 04, 2017 6:49 pm We will be a year working with Beechwood in September and house is nearly ready for council. But going to be totally worth it Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15574Aug 04, 2017 7:40 pm Well our supervisour Ben has done it. Even the tradies yesterday said he wouldn't be able to do it. He got our appliances delivered today and installed.. it's great. Still a bit to do before Tuesday but it's getting closer and closer. We've had a similar experience with the one thing at a time happening on the block. Cut and benched week later fenced week later portaloo delivered week later plumbing week later rio week later slab we have hit a week yesterday since slab and they did the storm water downpipes hahahha. We haven't been notified who our site supervisor is yet. We are classified in the hunter area for the build so I think all our tradies are from up this way but when you build in lake Mac your a central coast area so all your stuff is that way??? Correct me if I'm wrong. Ahh your on a pc I'm on my phone that could be why. I grew up in lake Mac:) it's a beautiful area. go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110592 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11039 |
