One of our shower screens is on an angle and as a result there is no magnetic strip stopping the door from opening whilst in the shower. Water everywhere is the result Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15646Aug 13, 2017 10:58 pm Ohhh you lucky duck!! Ohh nice would love to see a picture once done. Sounds amazing. Our flooring is a large square tile (I wanted timber tiles) and got the matching bathroom floor tile for bathrooms plain white matte rectangle for walls. No fancy in the shower. Tiling to the ceiling too and then just a large tile for behind the stove and I got the square tile wastes. We upgraded that strip too. And my husband wanted colour grout Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15647Aug 14, 2017 6:51 am Brianna Ohhh you lucky duck!! Ohh nice would love to see a picture once done. Sounds amazing. Yeah the problem we have is there is nothing on the door to stop it from opening, the rest have a magnetic strip and a bottom drip rail. They have said that it's finished but when you have a shower the water pours out Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15650Aug 14, 2017 11:12 am Hi All, Thank you so much to everyone for replying to our questions. Words can't describe how much it meant to us. Just a question Tom if you don't mind me asking what were the reasons for the $15 000 charge? And why was most of it refunded back? Once again thank you very much everyone , wish you all the luck with your builds. Please free me to ask me any questions regarding the edgecilff vibe 37. Was for provisional allowances such as traffic control, fill, machine hire, scaffolding, power pole connection, material handling, lime in case the soil was to reactive and for the rubble pit. We asked with sales, they advised beechwood don't do.. did u upgrade with tile direct? cman yep tile insert attached picture for you. In all wet areas. Yes we did upgrade with tile direct directly but we also noted it down in our tender and in our selections appointment. Due to the slab needing to be a different angle and depth at the waste points. They DO NOT do drain grates or Chanel's due to the above. It needs to be noted at the start for the engineers to design the slab correctly. The upgrade per waste is $100. We are thinking to increase the shower screen size to 1200mm instead of floor waste. and also could add fancy hand held shower rail. Just go with standard chrome waste.. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15656Aug 15, 2017 1:25 pm Hi all Just wondering if anyone had their price change between tender stage and contract stage for amounts other than upgrades? Costs / provisional allowances that beechwood added in? We've just signed off on our tender and are almost at colour stage. At the moment our provisional allowance amount is $2,200 for site fencing and stainless steel straps to support internal drainage. I'm just wondering what additional costs we may be hit with at contract stage that are out of our control. We're planning on upgrading tapware / handles etc but don't want to go crazy if we're going to be hit with extra provisionals. Thanks heaps Nov 2016 - Land deposit Feb 2017 - Beechwood deposit August 2017 - Land registered (finally) * * OUR BLOG * * https://buildingabeechie.wordpress.com/ Re: Who is building with Beechwood 15657Aug 15, 2017 1:35 pm bredani Hi all Just wondering if anyone had their price change between tender stage and contract stage for amounts other than upgrades?
